Lynsey Cribbin

Lynsey Cribbin is a 36-year-old woman from Finea, Co Cavan, who has been living with locked-in syndrome for 14 years after a misdiagnosed stroke. She can only communicate through eye movements and relies on a wheelchair for mobility. In a recent legal case, she settled with a €3.7 million interim payout over the alleged inadequate care she received at Cavan General Hospital.
