Lyudmila Telen

Lyudmila Telen is the First Deputy Executive Director of the Yeltsin Center, a cultural and educational complex in Yekaterinburg, Russia, dedicated to the legacy of Boris Yeltsin, the first President of Russia. Born in 1957 in Zhukovsky, she graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in journalism and has worked with notable media outlets, including Kommersant and Radio Free Europe. Telen has been involved with the Yeltsin Center since its inception in 2015 and has recently come into the news due to an administrative case against her for reposting an anti-war statement from Tatiana Yumasheva, the daughter of Boris Yeltsin.
