Məmməd bəy Əfəndiyev

Məmməd bəy Əfəndiyev was a prominent Azerbaijani mathematician and educator, credited with laying the foundations of modern mathematics education in Azerbaijan. He graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of St. Petersburg University in 1913 and significantly contributed to the development of mathematical terminology and textbooks in the Azerbaijani language.
