M. A. Wazed Miah
M. A. Wazed Miah was a prominent Bangladeshi physicist and the chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. He began his career in 1963 at the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission in Karachi before relocating to Dhaka. A respected figure in both the scientific and political communities, Wazed Miah authored several books on physics and politics. He was married to Sheikh Hasina, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and they had two children. Wazed Miah passed away in 2009, shortly after his wife began her second term as Prime Minister.
