Mabel Mabena

Mabel Mabena is a traditional health practitioner and the wife of Ephraim Cebisa Mabena, who has been instrumental in the restoration of the Magaliesberg mountain overlooking Mamelodi. Together with her husband, she has contributed to the development of the Mothong African Heritage Trust, a sanctuary that promotes indigenous knowledge and healing practices. Mabel plays a crucial role in cultivating medicinal plants and educating the community about traditional healing methods, emphasizing the importance of nature and environmental stewardship.
