Mabua is the newly appointed CEO of the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA), a role he assumed in August 2023, making him the first to hold this position as the organization seeks to establish a comprehensive secretariat. With a robust background in telecommunications as the founding CEO of Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFINET) and experience as a permanent secretary, Mabua aims to transform BAA by focusing on governance, infrastructure, and commercialisation in athletics. He is passionate about elevating the sport's profile and believes in its potential economic benefits, advocating for better facilities and structured support for athletes.
