Mac Nagbe Nelson

Mac Nagbe Nelson has carved out a remarkable path of service and leadership in Liberia, transforming from a youth activist to a national trailblazer. As the Executive Director of the Pursuit for Positive Action Youth Organization, he empowered young people and represented Liberia at the United Nations Youth Assembly. His accolades include the Global Youth Icon Award and a fellowship with the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. Nelson founded MACON, a consultancy firm aimed at job creation and skills development, and has served as an educator and mentor. Recently appointed as Pillar Lead for Risk Communication and Community Engagement for Liberia’s National Mpox Response, he is dedicated to guiding public health efforts and inspiring future generations.
