Madalena Cascais Tomé

Madalena Cascais Tomé is the outgoing president of SIBS, the company that owns the Multibanco and MB Way payment systems, having served since 2015. She is set to leave her position in September after being confirmed for a new international challenge, which aligns with her ambitions to elevate SIBS as a significant player in the European payment landscape. Prior to her tenure at SIBS, she was associated with Portugal Telecom and has recently been elected to lead the European Mobile Payment Systems Association.
