Mădălina Manole was a celebrated Romanian singer and songwriter, born on July 14, 1967, in Vălenii de Munte. Known for her emotional performances and impactful music, she gained fame in the late 1980s and 1990s, becoming one of the most beloved pop artists in Romania. Tragically, she struggled with depression and took her own life on her 43rd birthday, July 14, 2010.
