Madara Fogelmane

Madara Fogelmane is a Latvian cellist and singer-songwriter known for her meditative music style. She studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. Fogelmane gained recognition in 2018 when her song 'Esamība' placed third in the Supernova competition, becoming a symbol of peace and a popular wedding waltz. In addition to her solo work, she is a member of the duo Sinerģija and the rock chamber orchestra Sonntags Legion. Fogelmane also teaches cello at Saldus Music School and leads her own private practice, while continuing to create new compositions.
