Madeleine Jacob
Madeleine Jacob, affectionately known as 'Milou', was the eldest sister of the renowned French politician and Holocaust survivor Simone Veil. Born in 1923, she experienced the horrors of deportation during World War II, an ordeal that deeply impacted her life. Tragically, she died in 1952 at the young age of 29 in a car accident, along with her one-year-old son. Her story and legacy are honored in the exhibition 'Simone Veil. Mes sœurs et moi' at the Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris.
