Madundo Mtambo
Professor Madundo Mtambo is the Director General of the Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organisation (Tirdo). He is dedicated to advancing Tanzania's industrialisation agenda, particularly in the strategic minerals sector, through research and value addition. Under his leadership, Tirdo has initiated a cooperation agreement with the State Mining Corporation (Stamico) aimed at harnessing the country’s mineral wealth to support economic growth and job creation.
