Magatte N'Diaye is a Senegalese migrant who, alongside his compatriot Ibrahima Diack, was recognized as an 'Adopted Son of A Coruña' for his heroic actions during a homophobic attack in July 2021, when he intervened to help a gay man, Samuel Luiz, who was being brutally assaulted by a mob. His bravery in the face of danger has been celebrated as an example of moral courage.
