Mahand Shahab Al-Din

Mahand Shahab Al-Din is a resident of the Druze-majority region of As-Suwayda in Syria. He is a former prisoner from the Assad regime era and has been vocal about the dire conditions faced by his community amidst ongoing violence and government oppression. Al-Din participated in the 2011 uprising against the regime and has expressed deep frustration over the disparity between the government's propaganda and the harsh realities on the ground, describing scenes of death, destruction, and lawlessness.
