Mahdi Amiri

Mahdi Amiri is the Director General of Citizen Education at Tehran Municipality. He recently emphasized the importance of promoting the Persian epic, Shahnameh, through cultural events and activities, especially in the context of the upcoming Nowruz celebrations. He announced the launch of a caravan celebrating the arrival of spring, which will feature artistic performances and storytelling based on the Shahnameh, aiming to engage the youth with this significant piece of Persian literature. The caravan will travel from Meydan Haft Tir to Laleh Park, showcasing the rich traditions of Nowruz while promoting cultural heritage.
