Mahendra Karma

Mahendra Karma was a prominent Indian politician and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress, known for his role in the political landscape of Chhattisgarh. He was assassinated in 2013 during a Maoist ambush in the Jhiram Ghati region, which also claimed the lives of several other Congress leaders. Karma was a vocal critic of Maoist violence and was involved in efforts to combat the insurgency in the region.
