Maher Al-Amiri serves as the administrative deputy to the governor of Basra and has been involved in overseeing urgent water management initiatives, particularly regarding the R0 water project, to ensure a steady supply of water and address the challenges posed by aquatic vegetation and sediment in the water channels.
