Mahmood Amiry-Moghadam

Mahmood Amiry-Moghadam is an Iranian neuroscientist and human rights activist, currently serving as the director of Iran Human Rights (IHR), an organization dedicated to documenting human rights abuses and the application of the death penalty in Iran. He has been vocal about the oppressive measures employed by the Iranian regime, particularly in response to dissent and the challenges it faces from its populace. Recently, he highlighted the regime's increased repression in the face of military aggression, stressing how the government's inability to defend the country has led to mass arrests and executions.
