Mahmoud Hammand

Mahmoud Hammand is a 39-year-old survivor from Gaza who has been tirelessly digging through the rubble of his home since an Israeli airstrike in December 2023 resulted in the loss of his wife and five children. Despite his injuries, he has taken it upon himself to search for the remains of his family, recently discovering small bones that he believes belong to his unborn daughter.
