Mahmoud Karam

Mahmoud Karam is an Egyptian diplomat and human rights advocate who has recently been appointed to serve as the interim head of the National Council for Human Rights following the resignation of Ambassador Moushira Khattab. As the Deputy Chairman of the council, he is expected to lead the organization through a critical transitional period as it continues its work in promoting and protecting human rights in Egypt.
