Maho
Maho is a 39-year-old Iranian photographer who recently won the inaugural Luís Ferreira Alves award for architectural photography. His award-winning project, titled 'Frequent Whites,' captures the austere rhythm of the white apartment blocks in Pardis, a satellite city born from the expansion of Tehran. Through his evocative photographs taken across all four seasons, Maho explores the unique architectural identity of Pardis, which represents the forced migrations of Tehran's growing population.
