Mahtab

Mahtab is an activist with the Iranian Lesbian and Transgender Network, known as 6Rang, and she has been an outspoken critic of the Iranian regime's treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals. After facing imprisonment for her advocacy work in Iran, she fled to Turkey and eventually resettled in Berlin, where she continues to raise awareness about the plight of LGBTQ+ refugees. Mahtab highlights the hypocrisy of the Iranian government, which promotes medical tourism for gender reassignment surgeries while simultaneously oppressing its own citizens.
