Maia Benvenisti

Maia Benvenisti is a 37-year-old Israeli educator, social activist, and author, known for her debut novel 'The Book about Emil,' which reflects her experiences growing up in a challenging school environment in Eilat. Now residing in Jerusalem, she teaches at the bilingual Max Rayne School, drawing on her own traumatic childhood to connect with her students and foster a safe learning environment.
