Máire ní Mhurchú, also known as D Murphy, is a 70-year-old Irish pro-Palestinian activist originally from Cork, who has been actively volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement in the West Bank since May. She is a founding member of the Swansea Palestine Community Link and has a history of activism, including a previous detention in Israel in 2011. Recently, she was detained by Israeli police in the occupied West Bank while advocating for Palestinian rights.
