Mairena Salgado

Mairena Salgado, a 28-year-old Nicaraguan, is the primary suspect in the murders of Mauren Molina and Antonio Badilla at Finca Lajas. He reportedly had worked intermittently for the couple and was known to have a troubled past, including issues with substance abuse. Following the crime on November 15, 2025, he was apprehended after attempting to flee to Nicaragua.
