Maja Tedeschi
Maja Tedeschi was a prominent Croatian architect known for her minimalist and elegant designs that blended tradition with contemporary living. Among her notable works are the Sabljić/Kugli House in Zagreb, which received a nomination for the prestigious 'Bernardo Bernardi' award, and the Briig boutique hotel in Split, which won the Big SEE Architecture Award in 2020. Tedeschi's architectural style was characterized by a clean and discreet aesthetic, which she employed effectively while respecting historical forms and materials. She was also the founder of Studio 180 and left behind a legacy of innovative spaces, having sadly passed away prematurely, leaving behind her husband Emil and two children.
