Majibur Rahman

Majibur Rahman was a dedicated and patriotic taxi driver who spent over four decades working in Dhaka, navigating through the political upheavals of Bangladesh. He took pride in his independence, never seeking help or benefits from political parties, which he considered a point of honor. The sacrifice of his son, Noor Hossain, who became a martyr for the cause of democracy, deeply affected him, yet it also strengthened his resolve to continue advocating for the welfare of his country. Despite facing immense personal loss and witnessing ongoing struggles against corruption and authoritarianism, Majibur remained hopeful for a better future for Bangladesh, embodying the resilience of a generation that has endured significant challenges in pursuit of justice and democracy.
