Makarem

Makarem is a resilient 19-year-old student who survived a devastating shelling attack at her school in el-Obeid, Sudan, which resulted in the deaths of her friends and teacher. Injured by shrapnel that remains lodged in her head, Makarem is determined to pursue a career in medicine, inspired by the medical professionals who treated her. Despite the challenges posed by her injuries, she is committed to retaking her exams to achieve her academic goals.
