Maksat Mukash is a Kazakh public figure and educator, known for his extensive work in the field of physical education and sports. He graduated from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakh Humanities and Law University, and Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade. Over the years, he has held various positions in the educational sector, including a teacher and a director of youth sports schools in the city of Zhanaozen. Mukash also served as a deputy in the Zhanaozen city maslikhat and as the head of the local branch of the 'Ak Zhol' party. Recently, he was appointed the new akim (mayor) of Aktau, succeeding Abilkhair Baipakov.
