Manat Sarbasov

Manat Sarbasov is a former head of the National Security Committee's Department in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. He was recently in the news for being convicted of large-scale corruption, including accepting a bribe of 70 million tenge from a business owner for protecting her private school. In addition to this, he was found guilty of money laundering and failing to take action against other corrupt activities within the health department, leading to significant financial losses.
