Manjarra Marega

Manjarra Marega is the Programme Manager for the National Mental Health Programme at the Ministry of Health in The Gambia. With a keen focus on mental health policy and community engagement, she has been instrumental in addressing the challenges and gaps in mental health services since the validation of the previous policy in 2007. Marega emphasizes the importance of revitalizing mental health services to ensure accessibility across regions and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
