Manolis Lidakis

Manolis Lidakis, born Emmanouil Spyrlidakis in 1960 in Heraklion, Crete, was a prominent Greek singer known for his contributions to both contemporary and folk music. He began his musical career at a young age and gained significant recognition after moving to Athens in 1982, where he participated in the television show 'Na i Efkairia' and released his first album, 'Meta Apo Sena.' Over the years, he collaborated with various notable artists and released numerous successful albums, including 'Oute Pou Rotisa' in 1990, which solidified his status in the Greek music scene. Lidakis was celebrated for his heartfelt performances and unique vocal style, making him a beloved figure in modern Greek music. He passed away at the age of 64, leaving behind a rich legacy in the industry.
