Manos Papageorgiou

Manos Papageorgiou is a social anthropologist who completed his master's degree in Social Anthropology at Panteion University. He has a strong connection to Crete, where he spent his childhood, and his research focuses on agricultural policies and subsidies in the region. In his thesis, he conducted extensive interviews with local individuals to examine the implications of EU and national agricultural policies since the 1980s, shedding light on the complex social dynamics and patronage relationships that persist in Cretan society.
