Manuel Alberto Coto Barrientos

Manuel Alberto Coto Barrientos was the former general manager and a director of the Asociación Cooperativa Santa Victoria (COSAVI de R.L.), implicated in a $35 million embezzlement scandal. He tragically died in a helicopter crash on September 8, 2024, while being transported after his capture in Honduras, raising suspicions about the circumstances surrounding his death and leaving many unanswered questions regarding the financial misconduct.
