Manuel Añorve Baños

Manuel Añorve Baños is a Mexican politician and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He has served in various political roles, including as a senator, where he has been vocal in opposing governmental policies that he believes threaten freedom of expression. Recently, he was in the news for his strong criticisms of the new telecommunications law, which he argues imposes digital authoritarianism and could lead to censorship.
