Manuel Roberto F is a vice admiral in the Mexican Navy, known for his previous role as commander of the 12th Naval Zone in Puerto Vallarta. He has recently been in the news following his arrest on charges related to organized crime, specifically linked to the theft of hydrocarbons, also known as huachicol. His capture has raised significant attention due to his familial connection to former Secretary of the Navy, José Rafael Ojeda Durán. As of September 2023, he, along with nine others, has been linked to a criminal organization, leading to a federal judge imposing preventive detention while further investigations commence.
