Manuel Taján

Manuel Taján was a victim of state terrorism in Argentina, having been forcibly disappeared on March 24, 1976. As a laborer and union leader in the sugar industry in Concepción, Tucumán, his disappearance became a poignant symbol of the struggles faced by many families during Argentina's military dictatorship. His mother, Azucena Díaz, became a notable figure in the fight for human rights through her involvement with the Madres de Plaza de Mayo, advocating for justice and remembrance of the victims like her son.
