Manuel Urrutia was a Cuban lawyer and politician who became the provisional president of Cuba after the fall of Fulgencio Batista's regime. He was a member of the '26th of July Movement' and was appointed by Fidel Castro's insurgents, but his presidency was short-lived as he struggled to maintain authority amid the chaos of the revolution.
