Maphaz Saleh

Maphaz Saleh is a Palestinian-American scholar who earned a master’s degree in conflict analysis and peace-building from Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. She met her husband, Badar Khan Suri, during a humanitarian convoy in Gaza in 2011, and they married in 2014. Maphaz is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service while supporting her husband's academic endeavors. She has come into the spotlight due to the recent detention of her husband by US immigration authorities over alleged pro-Hamas activism, raising questions about her family's political connections and her own citizenship status.
