Marahidun

Marahidun is a 50-year-old porter from Sembalun Lawang, Lombok Timur, Indonesia. He has been working as a porter since 1989, initially to assist an American researcher studying the flora and fauna of Mount Rinjani. Despite the physical demands of carrying heavy loads, he has adapted to the challenging terrain and has become an integral part of the local economy, relying on the increasing popularity of the mountain among international climbers.
