Marat Orumbasarovich Pashimov

Marat Pashimov, born on October 4, 1981, is a prominent figure in Kazakhstan's healthcare system. He has held various positions since entering the field in 2003, including roles as a medical nurse and anesthesiologist, and has worked as the head of the intensive care and telemedicine department. Pashimov has also served as the deputy chief physician for organizational and methodological work and emergencies, and has managed both a city polyclinic and a regional clinical hospital. Most recently, he was the chairman of the board of the Scientific Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Diseases in Almaty. On July 21, 2025, he was appointed as the head of the public health department of Almaty.
