Marat Sultangaziyev

Marat Sultangaziyev is the Akim (Governor) of Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. He has been influential in fostering regional cooperation and economic development, particularly in relation to China's Belt and Road Initiative. Recently, he hosted a delegation from China's Qinghai Province, resulting in the signing of seven memorandums aimed at enhancing collaboration in various sectors, including trade, energy, education, and healthcare.
