
Marcela Paredes
Marcela Paredes is a prominent Panamanian engineer and educator, holding a degree in electromechanical engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP). With over 25 years of experience in higher education, she served as the rector of UTP from 2008 to 2013, and later as the Minister of Education from 2014 to 2018. Paredes also held the position of Panama's ambassador to Chile between 2018 and 2019.
