Márcio Amaral

Márcio Amaral is an archaeologist from the Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development in Brazil, known for his extensive research on ancient indigenous cultures in the Amazon. He is actively involved in excavations and studies related to the advanced engineering and construction techniques of pre-Columbian societies, particularly in the Médio Solimões region, where he recently contributed to uncovering ancient funerary urns following the discovery of an archaeological site revealed by a fallen tree.
