Marco Antonio Molina Quirós

Marco Antonio Molina Quirós was a prominent figure in Costa Rican boxing, serving as the president of the Asociación Costarricense de Boxeo Profesional and the Comisión de Boxeo de Costa Rica. A lawyer by profession, he dedicated much of his life to the development and organization of professional boxing in Costa Rica, leaving an indelible mark on the sport. His leadership and vision were instrumental in the success of many championship events, including those featuring notable fighters like Hanna Gabriels and Yokasta Valle. Molina passed away on July 1 at the age of 88, leaving behind a legacy celebrated by the boxing community.
