Marco Follini, born on September 26, 1954, in Rome, is a prominent Italian politician and former leader of the Union of Christian and Centre Democrats (Udc). He served as the Deputy Prime Minister in the Berlusconi II government. Follini has a rich political lineage, being the son of a significant figure in Italian journalism. Notably, he gained attention recently after revealing a surprising phone call from former President Francesco Cossiga, who informed him that his late father was purportedly a leader of the secret paramilitary organization Gladio, which has raised questions about Italy's Cold War history.
