Marcos Maldaun

Marcos Maldaun is a neuro-oncologist and the co-coordinator of the Brain Tumor Center at Hospital Sírio-Libanês in Brazil. He has been instrumental in the establishment of this center, which is the first of its kind in Latin America dedicated to the treatment of central nervous system tumors. With over 11,000 new cases of brain tumors reported annually in Brazil, Maldaun emphasizes the need for specialized centers that focus on complex diseases requiring tailored treatments and innovative research. His work aims to enhance patient care and advance scientific knowledge in the field of neuro-oncology.
