
Marcos Orlando Letelier
Marcos Orlando Letelier was a Chilean diplomat and politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs under President Salvador Allende. He was assassinated in 1976 in Washington, D.C., by agents of the Chilean government led by dictator Augusto Pinochet, making his murder one of the notable cases of state-sponsored terrorism against political dissidents abroad.
