Marek Edelman

Marek Edelman was a key figure in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943, where he led a group of Jewish fighters against the Nazi regime as they sought to exterminate the remaining Jewish population in the ghetto. As one of the last surviving leaders of the uprising, Edelman later reflected on the struggle, emphasizing the dignity of resisting oppression even in the face of certain death.
