Margalida Capellà

Margalida Capellà is a dedicated community member and the director of the Observatorio de Migraciones in the Mediterranean at the Universitat de les Illes Balears. She has been actively involved in addressing the challenges faced by migrants arriving in the Balearic Islands, highlighting the urgent need for resources and support for newcomers, particularly as the profile of migrants shifts from primarily Algerian nationals to a significant number of refugees from Sub-Saharan Africa.
